This coalition has put together a list of more than 40 rail trails throughout NH. They offer wide, fairly flat paths that are good for walking, running, biking, scooters and strollers.
Parks, Paths and Playgrounds in and around Somersworth
Noble Pines Park- 45 Grand Street, Somersworth- This park features a baseball field, basketball court, pavilion with picnic tables, 2 age-appropriate playgrounds and a splash pad.
Millennium Field- 79 Stackpole Road, Somersworth- The park contains a lighted softball field, playground equipment, 2 sand volleyball courts, horseshoe pits, a covered pavilion with picnic tables, 2 charcoal grills, a recreation building with electricity and a bathroom, and a new Dog Park.
Malley Farm Recreational Area- 105 Salmon Falls Road, Somersworth-
Offers walking trails along the Salmon River (not maintained by the city. There are also two softball fields with covered dugouts and a concession stand.
Jules Bisson Park- 79 Depot Street, Somersworth- This neighborhood park contains a gazebo with benches, basketball court, baseball field, playground equipment and swings, and a bike rack.
The Riverwalk- off Buffumsville Road also the Salmon River- a trail that winds along the beautiful Salmon Falls River, perfect for dog walking, fishing or a nice stroll along the water.
Mast Point Dam- 121 Salmon Falls Road- A walking trail that offers a picnic area, viewing benches and hand-carry boat launch for canoes and kayaks.
